Sewing classes
Monthly sewing opportunities where students practice the basics of hand & machine sewing while completing fun projects!
Begining Sewing and Private Sewing options:
If your student is new to sewing, the beginning sewing option is the best place to start! Students learn the basics of hand and machine sewing in a 1:2 ratio with the goal of being able to start and stop the sewing process independently. Students will go home with a basic sewing kit and a few supplies to keep them practicing at home.
If your student is interested in learning to sew more complex project or learning to sew using their own machine, then private sewing lessons would be ideal.

Group Sewing:
Thursdays from 1:00-3:00 * Sewing projects are designed to be started and completed in just one class meet-up. * All supplies provided *1:4 ration of teacher to student * for students who have the basics and want to continue adding to their skills.

Skill focus: Machine sewing, using interfacing, ironing
March 6th
Loud Mouth Pillow
Inspired by artist Greg Mike, show your personality with this funny face felt pillow.
Skill focus: Hand sewing with some machine sewing, decorative knots, pillow basics
April 3rd
Stand-up birds
Using a simple pattern, students will design and embellish colorful birds that will actually stand on 2 legs!
Skill focus: Hand sewing with some machine sewing, sewing with embellishments
